Innovating Security & Intelligence Solutions
KSL Komcept Solutions Ltd. empower law enforcement and government agencies with advanced, reliable, and forward-thinking security technologies. Their expertise spans Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM), lawful interception, border security, and specialised training—delivered with precision and integrity. Their solutions play a critical role in supporting counter-terrorism operations, safeguarding national security, and enabling agencies to respond effectively to evolving threats.
In an increasingly complex threat landscape, having the right tools and intelligence is essential to maintaining operational readiness and protecting critical infrastructure.
Detect What RF Can’t See
The Lockhart Magnetometer extends TSCM capability beyond conventional RF detection – revealing hidden electronic devices that evade standard techniques.
In a world where surveillance threats are evolving, traditional RF detection alone no longer provides the full picture. It is imperative to also check cabling, light and even for electronic circuits. The Lockhart Magnetometer was developed to address a critical capability gap in modern TSCM operations – detecting the silent, shielded presence of deep-sleep or standby-off electronics.
Unlike conventional detectors that rely on RF emissions, the Magnetometer senses the very weak alternating magnetic fields emitted by all powered electronic circuits – even when they’re in a standby OFF state. This includes hidden or dormant devices equipped with timers or oscillators.
Compact, handheld, and incredibly sensitive, the device is optimised to locate electronics hidden within walls, ceilings, furniture, or metal enclosures – spaces often used to shield against RF-based detection, such as nearfield detectors and NLJDs.
When paired with headphones, pulsing magnetic fields are translated into audible signals while simultaneously being visualised on the device’s amplitude-vs-time scrolling display. Its intuitive UI mirrors the rest of the Lockhart TSCM range, and its lightweight form factor is powered by standard AA batteries for total portability.

FLARE is a portable hand operated signal generator designed to produce known and controlled test signals for in-field equipment verification of TSCM equipment. This can be used before and during security sweeps to test TSCM equipment.

RADIO FREQUENCY
FLARE can generate a range of spot radio frequencies or sweep across a range of frequencies. The RF signal is modulated with a sine wave or with an audio signal streamed into the device by the user. It can also transmit onto the GHz band by using its Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules.
| Frequencies | 110-970 MHz 2400-2484 MHz 5180-5825 MHz |
-10 dBm to +10 dBm 14-16 dBm 13-14 dBm |
| Modulation | CW. OOK, FSK, audio-in | |
OPTICAL SOURCE
FLARE will modulate a signal onto visible and infrared light, effectively flashing it to simulate passing data. The light may be modulated with a set pattern, or audio may be streamed over it.
| Wavelengths | 450 nm 860 nm |
Visible white light, 28200 mcd Near infrared, 20° view angle |
| Modulation | CW, OOK 0.5Hz, FSK AM 1-400KHz, audio-in | |
FLARE COMPLETE COLLECTION
- Flare Power bank
- USB mains adapter
- Nanuk case
- Table clamp
- Pouch with transistor components
- 4 x AA Batteries
All the signals can be activated or deactivated individually.

BLUETOOTH
The device incorporates two Bluetooth modules and is therefore able to establish a Client and Server independently, to simulate Advertising, Scanning and Connection modes. Once connected it can transfer a known signal or stream audio between modules. MAC address randomization and display are included.
| Frequencies | 2.4-2.48 GHz |
| Version | Bluetooth 5, BLE5, & backwards compatible |
| Power | < 7 dBm |
WI-FI
The device incorporates two Wi-Fi modules, able to pose as Access Point (AP) and Client independently. Once connected together, a constant communication is established.
| Frequencies | 2.4 GHz, 5GHz |
| Version | 802.11 a/b/g/n on Wi-Fi 1,2,3,4, supports HT20 & HT40 |
| Encryption | Built-in AES, DES, SHA |
MAINS ELECTRICITY
The fully safety-compliant mains functionality of FLARE will plug into a mains electricity supply and insert an analogue or digital signal as required. The analogue signal can be a sine wave at set or swept frequencies, or modulated audio streamed from the audio-in port on FLARE. The digital signal comprises Powerline Communication paging, which simulates IP carriers over mains wiring.
| Frequencies | 10kHz-12.5MHz |
ETHERNET
An RJ45 connector enables analogue signals comprising either a constant carrier or modulated audio to be injected onto a pair of wires. Not limited to just an Ethernet cable, this could be used with telephone or alarm cables too. Transmitted signals can be on a spot frequency or swept across the whole range.
| Frequencies | 50 kHz-200 kHz |
ULTRASONIC SOURCE
The device will output a continuous wave (CW) carrier at selectable frequencies, and sweep across a frequency range. It will also modulate audio from the audio-in port onto the ultrasonic output to simulate transfer of data.
| Frequencies | 16kHz-100kHz |
AUDIO SOURCE
A headphone-level socket allows a variable-level audio signal to be output to a speaker or other equipment.
| Frequencies | 20Hz-20kHz |

Mobile Protection Box (MPB)
Our range of portable Mobile Protection Boxes provides an effective electronic solution to the problem of having mobile phones in sensitive areas that may be unknowingly transmitting or recording speech.
Specifically designed to provide inexpensive speech protection from threats posed by mobile phones in secure areas or meeting rooms.
Security advisors recognises that we need our mobile phones to keep in touch but that these can also provide a serious security risk.
These boxes house a proprietary protection device that inhibits the microphones within mobile phones without affecting the handsets’ ability to receive phone calls, text messages, emails etc..
In operation it is silent to the user; it has a safe working level without damaging the mobile handsets. They are effective on the latest mobile phones that have quality-in-built microphones.
The range of Mobile Protection Boxes protects private conversations from unwanted eavesdropping through mobile phone handsets.
When placed in the MPB all mobile phone microphones are rendered inoperable while allowing the phone’s ringtone to still be heard if desired so you will never miss a call.

Mobile Protection Box Test Device (MPB-T)

MPB-T are new test devices which are available to provide electronic verification for user-confidence that each MPB is fully functional.
These are used by in-house Red Teams to ensure all deployed devices are working as they should through periodic testing.
Use of these devices in-house will replace the need to return to your supplier, giving a better ROI.
The MPB-T works the same way in both boxes.
The device works by placing the MPB-T in an MPB as shown, displaying one multi-coloured LED for each emitter. Whilst checking each emitter a blue LED will illuminate until signal is detected, which then switches to green upon successful functioning.
Once complete there should be green LEDs giving the user full confidence that their MPB is working as it should.
If one or more blue indicators are consistently shown it could mean the MPB has been damaged or is impaired and needs to be returned to KSL for investigation.
